With the WIFI solar control for swimming pool you can control a connected pool pump or a 3-way motor valve fully automatically. The supplied temperature probes measure the exact water temperature and solar collector temperature. The smart solar control system controls your swimming pool solar system according to your temperature specifications and schedules, using differential measurement.
On the smart switch actuator Sonoff TH Elite THR320D is installed by us, our solar control firmware, based on Tasmota. This allows you to connect two temperature probes (included) and switch a connected device according to your specifications. You decide at which times the solar control should be active. If the desired maximum water temperature in the pool is not reached, the controller checks whether the minimum temperature of the solar collector has been reached. The controller then determines the differential temperature between the pool temperature and the collector temperature. You can adjust the switching hysteresis upwards or downwards as you wish and thus decide when the controller should switch the connected device on or off.
Our customized Tasmota software offers you numerous advantages. Most SmartHome controls are cloud-based and run on Asian servers. Tasmota is run without cloud on your private network. This means that your data is protected in the best possible way. Thanks to Tasmota’s open API, you can still integrate solar control into your SmartHome and use free apps. setting can also be made conveniently on the PC via your browser.
In this set, besides the solar control unit, we supply two temperature cable probes in 2 meters (water temperature measurement) and 10 meters (solar collector probe). These can be easily integrated into the pipe system or hose system of your swimming pool and solar system with our temperature sensor pipe mounting / hose mounting set (optional accessory).

Swimming pool solar control - control options
- This swimming pool solar control can be used in many ways:
Connection example 1: A 3-way motorized valve is installed in the filter circuit of your swimming pool. Through the solar control, the valve can be opened or closed in the direction of the solar collector.
Connection example 2: You use an auxiliary pump to direct the swimming pool water through the solar collectors. The WIFI swimming pool solar control switches the auxiliary pump on or off as required. - Some pool pumps can be switched potential-free. This control has a potential-free output (5-30V, 1A Max) and can be used for this purpose. Of course, the switching actuator (100-240V ~ 50 / 60Hz 20A max) can also be used to control additional pumps or motor valves.
Variable parameters for optimal solar control
You decide when your WIFI solar control should become active:
- Maximum pool water temperature: jumping into your swimming pool should refresh and cool you on hot days? No problem! Your solar control will become inactive once the maximum desired temperature (measured by the included waterproof cable probe) has been reached.
- Minimum temperature of the solar collector: If the desired minimum temperature of the solar collector (measured by the collector probe supplied) is reached, the solar control becomes active.
- Differential measurement with switching hysteresis: The controller determines the differential temperature between pool temperature and collector temperature. You can adjust the switching hysteresis upwards or downwards as you wish and thus decide when the controller should switch the connected device on or off.
- Schedules: Do you want your controller to be active only at certain times? No problem! Set schedules when the controller should be active and inactive.
